Blended Sense, Inc. ("Blended Sense," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, retain, and protect personal information when you:

  • create or use a Blended Sense account;
  • purchase or use Studio Pro;
  • book or participate in Marketplace Services;

  • event attendees;

  • other individuals who interact with the Services.
This Privacy Policy applies regardless of whether you access the Services through:
  • our website;
  • Studio Pro;
  • Marketplace Services;
  • mobile applications;
  • APIs;
  • customer support channels;
  • email communications;
  • integrations with third-party platforms; or
  • other services operated by Blended Sense.
This Privacy Policy applies only to information processed by Blended Sense.
It does not apply to:
  • third-party websites or services that link to or integrate with the Services;
  • services operated independently by Creative Professionals;
  • third-party payment processors;
  • social media platforms; or
  • any other third party whose privacy practices are governed by its own privacy policy.
Where an Enterprise Customer has entered into a separate written agreement with Blended Sense that includes privacy or data protection terms, those agreements may supplement this Privacy Policy. If a direct conflict exists, the applicable written agreement will govern solely with respect to the conflicting provision.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services, the features you use, your account type, and your relationship with Blended Sense.
We collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Services, from other users acting on your behalf, and from trusted third-party providers.
2.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account, purchase Services, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with Blended Sense, you may provide information including:

  • Mailing address
  • Profile photograph (if provided)
  • Username and login credentials
  • Account preferences and settings
Billing and Payment Information
Depending on the Services you purchase, we may collect information such as:

Payment card information is processed by our third-party payment providers. Blended Sense does not store complete payment card numbers or card verification values (CVVs).

  • project files;
  • Brand Kits;
  • captions;
  • transcripts;

  • other Content submitted through the Services.
You control the Content you choose to upload.

When you access or use the Services, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • authentication providers;
  • payment providers; and
  • other third parties authorized by you.
For example, an Organization Administrator may create an account for you or invite you to join a Workspace before you access the Services.
2.5 Information Generated Through Your Use of the Services
As you use the Services, Blended Sense may generate additional information to operate and improve platform functionality.
Examples include:
  • Workspace identifiers;
  • project identifiers;
  • storage usage;
  • subscription status;
  • account permissions;
  • feature usage;
  • AI-generated metadata;
  • search indexes;
  • media organization data;
  • audit logs;
  • activity history; and
  • system-generated identifiers.
This information is generally created automatically as part of providing the Services.
2.6 Sensitive Information
Certain Services may involve the processing of information that may be considered sensitive under applicable law, such as facial recognition or other biometric-related information generated through optional AI features.
Blended Sense processes such information only as described in this Privacy Policy, in accordance with applicable law, and subject to customer configuration and applicable legal requirements.

2.7 Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
Blended Sense does not intentionally collect personal information that is unnecessary for providing the Services.
Unless specifically required for a particular Service or required by applicable law, we ask that you do not upload or submit:
  • Social Security numbers or national identification numbers;
  • driver's license or passport numbers;
  • payment card numbers outside our secure payment workflows;
  • medical records;
  • health insurance information;
  • or other highly sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the Services.
If such information is inadvertently submitted, we may take reasonable steps to remove or securely handle it in accordance with our internal policies and applicable law.
3. How We Use Your Information
Blended Sense uses personal information only where necessary to operate, maintain, improve, secure, and support the Services. The specific ways we use information depend on the features you use, your relationship with Blended Sense, and your interactions with the Services.
We do not use personal information for purposes that are materially different from those described in this Privacy Policy without providing appropriate notice or obtaining consent where required by applicable law.
3.1 To Provide the Services
We use information to deliver and operate the Services you request, including to:
  • create and manage user accounts;
  • authenticate users;
  • provide access to Studio Pro and Marketplace Services;
  • manage Workspaces and user permissions;
  • process project requests;
  • coordinate Creative Professionals;
  • organize uploaded media;
  • deliver completed projects;
  • manage subscriptions and storage;
  • enable collaboration features; and
  • provide customer-requested functionality.
3.2 To Process Marketplace Projects
For Marketplace Services, we use information to:
  • coordinate production activities;
  • schedule filming sessions;
  • communicate with Customers and Creative Professionals;
  • facilitate project completion;
  • deliver media assets;
  • process revisions;
  • provide project updates; and
  • support post-production workflows.
Information may be shared with the Creative Professionals participating in your project only as necessary to complete the requested Services.
3.3 To Process Payments and Billing
We use information to:
  • process subscription payments;
  • issue invoices;
  • process Marketplace purchases;
  • administer Studio Credits;
  • calculate storage usage and overage charges;
  • detect payment fraud;
  • manage refunds and credits where applicable; and
  • maintain financial records required by law.
Payment processing is performed by authorized third-party payment providers.
3.4 To Provide Customer Support
We use information to:
  • respond to support requests;
  • troubleshoot technical issues;
  • investigate reported problems;
  • reproduce software bugs;
  • improve documentation;
  • resolve Marketplace issues;
  • communicate service updates; and
  • provide training and onboarding assistance.

We continually improve the Services based on how customers use the platform.

  • identify usability issues;

  • optimize Marketplace operations; and
  • improve overall customer experience.
Where practical, we use aggregated or de-identified information for product improvement activities.
3.6 To Power AI Features
Where enabled, Blended Sense may use information to operate AI-powered features, including to:
  • generate transcripts;
  • generate captions;
  • organize media libraries;
  • classify images and video;
  • detect scenes and objects;
  • create searchable metadata;
  • improve content discovery;
  • recommend relevant content;
  • assist with media organization;
  • support facial recognition features where enabled; and
  • automate platform workflows.
Blended Sense does not use Customer Content to train publicly available or general-purpose AI models without your authorization.

3.7 To Maintain Security
We use information to:
  • authenticate users;
  • detect suspicious activity;
  • prevent fraud;
  • investigate security incidents;
  • enforce our Terms;
  • monitor account integrity;
  • detect unauthorized access;
  • protect customer content;
  • secure the Services; and
  • comply with applicable security standards.
3.8 To Communicate With You
We may use information to send:
  • account notifications;
  • security alerts;
  • product updates;
  • support communications;
  • billing notices;
  • subscription renewal notices;
  • Marketplace notifications;
  • service announcements;
  • onboarding materials;
  • surveys; and
  • other communications related to your use of the Services.
Where required by applicable law, marketing communications will only be sent with appropriate consent or another lawful basis for processing.
You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those communications.
3.9 To Comply With Legal Obligations

  • comply with applicable laws and regulations;
  • respond to lawful requests from governmental authorities;
  • enforce contracts;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
  • comply with court orders;
  • comply with tax obligations;
  • maintain legally required business records; and
  • protect the rights, safety, and property of Blended Sense, our customers, and others.
3.10 Business Operations

  • administer contracts;

Information that has been de-identified will not be reidentified except as permitted or required by applicable law.

You may withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based solely on consent, subject to legal or contractual limitations.
4. Legal Bases for Processing Personal Information
If you are located in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom ("UK"), Switzerland, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing personal information, Blended Sense processes your personal information only when permitted under applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, we may rely on one or more of the following legal bases.
4.1 Performance of a Contract
We process personal information when it is necessary to provide the Services you request or to fulfill our contractual obligations.
Examples include:
  • creating and managing your account;
  • providing access to Studio Pro and Marketplace Services;
  • processing subscriptions and payments;
  • coordinating Marketplace projects;
  • storing and organizing media;
  • providing customer support;
  • delivering completed projects; and
  • administering your Workspace or organization.
Without this processing, we may be unable to provide some or all of the Services.
4.2 Legitimate Interests
We process personal information where doing so is necessary for our legitimate business interests and those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
Examples include:
  • improving the performance and usability of the Services;
  • developing new products and features;
  • maintaining platform security;
  • preventing fraud and abuse;
  • troubleshooting technical issues;
  • responding to customer inquiries;
  • conducting analytics and business reporting;
  • improving Marketplace operations;
  • protecting our legal rights; and
  • maintaining the reliability and integrity of our platform.
When we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the potential impact on your privacy and implement safeguards designed to protect your personal information.
4.3 Consent
In certain circumstances, we process personal information based on your consent.
Examples may include:
  • optional marketing communications;
  • certain cookies and tracking technologies;
  • optional AI features where consent is required by law;
  • facial recognition or biometric processing where applicable law requires consent; and
  • other processing activities for which consent is legally required.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before the consent was withdrawn.

We may process personal information where necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations.

6. AI, Facial Recognition, and Biometric Information
Blended Sense offers AI-powered features designed to help Customers and Creative Professionals organize, search, manage, and retrieve media more efficiently.
These features are intended to improve productivity and make media libraries easier to navigate. The availability of specific AI features may vary by subscription plan, product offering, customer configuration, geographic location, and applicable law.
6.1 AI-Powered Features
Depending on the Services you use, Blended Sense may use artificial intelligence or machine learning technologies to:
  • generate transcripts from audio or video;
  • generate captions and subtitles;
  • identify scenes or objects within media;
  • organize photos and videos;
  • create searchable metadata;
  • generate keywords or tags;
  • improve search results;
  • recommend related media;
  • detect duplicate or similar content;
  • assist with media organization; and
  • support other AI-enabled workflows.
These features are designed to assist users and are not intended to replace human judgment.
6.2 AI-Generated Information
When AI features are used, Blended Sense may generate additional information derived from Customer Content.
Examples include:
  • transcripts;
  • captions;
  • timestamps;
  • searchable text;
  • keywords;
  • descriptive tags;
  • object classifications;
  • scene classifications;
  • image descriptions;
  • confidence scores;
  • search indexes;
  • content relationships; and
  • other machine-generated metadata.
This information is created to improve the functionality and searchability of the Services.
6.3 Facial Recognition Features
Where enabled, Blended Sense may offer facial recognition features that help identify or organize individuals appearing in uploaded media.
Depending on the feature, facial recognition may be used to:
  • group photos or videos containing the same individual;
  • improve media search;
  • organize event galleries;
  • identify recurring individuals across related content; or
  • assist with automated media organization.
Facial recognition features may not be available in all regions or for all customers.
6.4 Facial Embeddings
To support facial recognition features, Blended Sense may generate mathematical representations of facial characteristics, commonly referred to as facial embeddings.
A facial embedding is not a photograph. It is a numerical representation generated by software that helps compare facial features across media.
Blended Sense uses facial embeddings solely to provide authorized platform functionality, such as organizing and searching media.
We do not use facial embeddings to infer characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, political affiliation, health status, or other sensitive personal attributes.
6.5 Customer Control of AI Features
Many AI-powered features are configurable by Customers or Enterprise Administrators.
Depending on the Services used, authorized users may be able to:
  • enable or disable certain AI features;
  • manage facial recognition settings;
  • control Workspace-level AI functionality;
  • delete uploaded content;
  • manage retention settings; and
  • configure user permissions related to AI-enabled features.
Available controls may vary depending on subscription level, account configuration, and applicable law.
6.6 AI Service Providers
Some AI-powered functionality is provided through trusted third-party technology providers.
These providers process information on our behalf solely to deliver the requested functionality and are contractually required to protect information in accordance with applicable agreements and laws.
Additional information regarding our third-party providers is available in Section 7 – Third-Party Service Providers and Information Sharing.
6.7 AI Model Training
Blended Sense does not use Customer Content to train publicly available or general-purpose artificial intelligence models without the Customer's authorization.
Customer Content processed through AI-powered features is used only to provide, maintain, improve, and support the Services described in this Privacy Policy and applicable customer agreements.
Where third-party AI providers are used, Blended Sense works with providers whose contractual terms restrict the use of Customer Content for training publicly available models, unless the Customer has expressly authorized such use.
6.8 Accuracy of AI Outputs
AI-generated results are produced through automated technologies and may not always be complete, accurate, or appropriate for every situation.
Customers remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before relying on them for business, creative, legal, or operational decisions.
6.9 Biometric Information
Certain jurisdictions regulate facial recognition technologies and related biometric information.
Where applicable law defines facial embeddings or similar information as biometric information, Blended Sense processes such information only:
  • as authorized by the Customer;
  • in accordance with applicable law;
  • for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy; and
  • subject to applicable retention and deletion requirements.
Blended Sense does not sell biometric information.
6.10 Retention of AI-Generated Information
AI-generated metadata, transcripts, search indexes, facial embeddings, and similar information are retained only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or satisfy Customer-configured retention settings.

6.11 Future AI Features
As artificial intelligence technologies continue to evolve, Blended Sense may introduce additional AI-powered capabilities.
When new features materially change how personal information is processed, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
7. Third-Party Service Providers and Information Sharing
Blended Sense shares personal information only when necessary to operate the Services, fulfill customer requests, comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation.
We do not disclose personal information to third parties except as described below or with your direction or consent.
7.1 Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf.
These providers may process personal information only as necessary to provide services to Blended Sense and in accordance with applicable contractual obligations.

  • projects associated with the organization;

Your organization's use of this information is governed by its own policies and practices.

Customers remain responsible for maintaining their own copies of important Content.
9.4 Marketplace Projects

  • maintain business records;
  • improve Marketplace operations; and
  • comply with legal obligations.
Media retention may differ from project record retention.
9.5 AI-Generated Information
Information generated through AI-powered features may include:
  • transcripts;
  • captions;
  • searchable metadata;
  • keywords;
  • object classifications;
  • scene classifications;
  • search indexes;
  • facial embeddings, where applicable; and
  • other AI-generated information.
This information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide AI-powered functionality, support customer-configured features, improve searchability, comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise described in applicable customer agreements.
When associated Customer Content is deleted, related AI-generated information is also scheduled for deletion or de-identification within our standard operational processes, unless retention is required by law.
9.6 Billing and Financial Records
Billing records, invoices, payment history, tax documentation, and related financial records may be retained for the period required by applicable accounting, tax, audit, and legal requirements.
9.7 Customer Support Records
Support requests, chat conversations, emails, and related communications may be retained to:

In certain circumstances, Customers may upload media that includes children as part of legitimate business purposes, such as school events, youth sports, family events, community programs, or similar productions. Blended Sense processes media containing children only for the purpose of providing the Services requested by the Customer and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable customer agreements.
